Quality Talent Group is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician to support mining and processing equipment. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, inspections, and emergency repairs to keep plants running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and basic mechanical skills, including welding and fabrication. Experience with skid-steer or man-lift is a plus, and adherence to PPE requirements is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in mechanical repair, installation, or industrial environments preferred.
• Basic mechanical skills including welding, light fabrication, cutting torch, and hand tools.
• Basic computer skills required for daily tasks.
• Preferred: Experience operating skid-steer or man-lift.
• Ability to follow PPE requirements including respirator use.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer and company guidelines.
• Inspect, repair, and adjust plant and conveying equipment.
• Maintain inventory of commonly used replacement parts.
• Execute emergency repairs to address equipment breakdowns.
• Report issues and repair needs to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies.
• Complete required reports and documentation on time.
