Quality Talent Group is seeking an entry level Maintenance Technician to support mining and processing equipment maintenance on swing shift. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspect and repair plant equipment, and ensure safety procedures are followed while maintaining parts inventories.

The role emphasizes hands-on mechanical work with basic welding and fabrication, plus the use of common hand tools, while adhering to PPE requirements and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in mechanical repair, installation, or industrial environments.
• Basic mechanical skills including welding (stick/arc), light fabrication, cutting torch, and hand tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Preferred: Experience operating skid-steer, man-lift, or similar equipment.
• Ability to follow PPE requirements, including respirator use (clean-shaven for proper fit).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer and company guidelines.
• Inspect, repair, and adjust plant and conveying equipment.
• Maintain inventory of commonly used replacement parts.
• Execute emergency repairs to address equipment breakdowns.
• Report issues and repair needs to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies.
• Complete required reports and documentation on time.
