Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician to support mining and processing equipment in our client’s facilities. The role involves performing preventative maintenance and addressing repairs to keep equipment running on a swing shift.

The candidate should have a high school diploma, basic welding and fabrication skills, and the ability to operate common shop tools. On-site work with safety and compliance at all times is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in mechanical repair, installation, or industrial environments is preferred.
• Basic mechanical skills including welding, light fabrication, cutting torch, and hand tools are required.
• Basic computer skills are needed.
• Preferred: Experience operating skid-steer, man-lift, or similar equipment.
• Ability to follow PPE requirements, including respirator use, is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer and company guidelines.
• Inspect, repair, and adjust plant and conveying equipment.
• Maintain inventory of commonly used replacement parts.
• Execute emergency repairs to address equipment breakdowns.
• Report issues and repair needs to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies.
• Complete required reports and documentation on time.
