Job summary

Sensient Technologies in California's Turlock area is seeking a swing shift Maintenance Mechanic III to keep our processing line running. You will perform a wide range of mechanical and electrical maintenance on processing equipment in wet and dry environments, contributing to safe and efficient operations.

You’ll work on preventative maintenance, troubleshoot complex repairs, and collaborate with a skilled team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment including engines and motors.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, welding, and HVAC basics.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative mechanical maintenance and emergency repairs following safety guidelines.
• Use measuring and testing instruments to locate problems and adjust parts.
• Troubleshoot and complete complex repairs and communicate issues with equipment to staff/vendors.
• Repair electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and gas-fired equipment to keep plant running.
