Swing-Shift Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job summary

Lineage is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep our facility running safely and efficiently. Swing Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM-11:00 PM, with every-other weekend plant checks.

Training during day shift first months to get familiar with the facility. You’ll perform preventive maintenance on equipment, diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems, operate lifts, document work, and follow safety standards.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of maintenance experience or trade school experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Able to troubleshoot equipment and perform preventive maintenance with minimal supervision.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working at heights and in cold storage environments up to -20°F with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on facility equipment, machinery, and building systems.
• Maintain and repair mechanical and electrical equipment to keep operations running safely and reliably.
• Troubleshoot sensors, switches, push buttons, and other automated equipment.
• Perform basic inspections and repairs on refrigeration systems.
• Complete preventative maintenance on material handling equipment, including conveyors and other powered equipment.
• Use hand and power tools to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Use welding equipment and cutting tools when needed.
• Operate lifts and other equipment to safely access and maintain equipment at heights.
• Document maintenance, inspections, and repairs in the appropriate systems.
• Communicate equipment issues and maintenance needs to facility leadership.
• Follow all company and regulatory safety standards.
