Job summary

Taylor Shellfish Farms is seeking a Facilities & Processing Maintenance professional for the swing shift in Shelton, Washington. This journeyman level role focuses on maintaining and repairing cannery and processing equipment, buildings, and facilities within a demanding seafood production environment.

Responsibilities include diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and adherence to food safety and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience with trade skills: electrical, plumbing, hydraulics and conveyors.
• Must be able to read and understand; technical manuals, standard operating procedures, schematics, and measuring tapes.
• Availability to work: days, nights, weekends, and on call, as needed.
• Ability to use computers well enough for the job.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic, repairs, preventive and maintenance work on processing equipment and buildings.
• Report any company assets in need of repairs to the maintenance manager,
• Report any safety and company policy violations to the maintenance manager or safety manager,
• Compliance with safety and regulatory concerns including food safety,
• May be required to do other tasks as needed
• Ability to receive and maintain training
