Job summary

Taylor Shellfish is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to service and repair cannery and processing equipment in Shelton, WA. The role requires diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance, and adhering to safety standards on a swing shift.

Ideal candidates have extensive trade skills (electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, conveyors), read technical manuals, and can operate computers. Candidates should be prepared to work days, nights, weekends, and on call.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Washington driver’s license & clean driving record.
• Must complete and maintain in-house forklift, tractor, first aid, safety trainings.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic, repairs, preventive and maintenance work on processing equipment and buildings.
• Report any company assets in need of repairs to the maintenance manager.
• Report any safety and company policy violations to the maintenance manager or safety manager.
• Compliance with safety and regulatory concerns including food safety.
• May be required to do other tasks as needed.
• Ability to receive and maintain training.
