Independencefamilyanimalcare seeks a Site Manager to oversee daily operations of a swine production site, ensuring efficiency, animal welfare, biosecurity, and compliance with company and industry standards. You will supervise employees, manage herd health, maintain facilities, and optimize productivity to meet production goals.

Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, training, audits, and stakeholder communications to uphold safety and performance across all site activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of swine production experience, with leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of swine production, herd health, and biosecurity practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of swine production across breeding, farrowing, nursery and finishing.
• Manage inventory of swine, semen, feed and supplies.
• Monitor herd health and feed efficiency to meet targets.
• Implement and enforce biosecurity protocols to prevent disease outbreaks.
• Organize work schedules and supervise farm employees to maximize efficiency.
• Maintain records related to production, health treatments, feed usage, and training.
• Participate in audits, inspections and certification programs.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
