Job summary

Brenneman Pork LLLP is seeking a site operations leader responsible for the care and welfare of pigs across multiple finishing sites in the Brenneman Pork system. The role requires coaching caregivers, enforcing bio-security policies, and ensuring data accuracy daily.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in swine production and at least 2 years in people management, with strong organizational and communication skills. Must be able to manage weekly site visits and coordinate with veterinary staff.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of swine production experience.
• 2+ years of personnel management experience.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Excel, Office & Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the safe and ethical care of swine finishing sites within Brenneman Pork system.
• Provide face-to-face coaching and direction to site caregivers and employees to meet production and quality standards.
• Meet with caregivers weekly at their sites; rotate sites if overseeing multiple sites.
• Enforce bio-security and euthanasia policies at all sites.
• Ensure welfare issues are addressed before leaving site; handle on-call emergencies as needed.
• Maintain accurate daily records and data integrity on movement counts and mortality.
• Monitor and adjust ventilation to ensure pig comfort; follow vaccination and medication protocols.
• Communicate with manager and veterinary staff on health issues.
• Prepare weekly schedules and site evaluations; complete action items in SharePoint.
