Job summary

The role requires 5+ years in livestock production and involves staffing decisions, safety compliance, and reporting for financial and operational analysis.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of livestock production experience or closely related work.
• Bilingual proficiency preferred.
• Ability to work with live animals and adapt to varying personalities.

Responsibilities

• Direct and participate in grow-finish management protocols, including feed, health treatments, ventilation, and animal care.
• Monitor pig performance and adjust health and feeding plans as needed to meet production flow.
• Coordinate with veterinarians and nutritionists for herd health and treatment decisions.
• Oversee staffing, training, and contractor growers to ensure compliant operations.
• Maintain timely reporting on inventories, movements, feed and water usage, and other KPIs for management.
