Job summary

Seaboard Foods in Guymon, OK is seeking a Farm Operations Management Trainee to gain hands-on knowledge of daily swine production and leadership training. This six-to-twelve month program prepares you for supervisor or technical roles within our swine operations.

You'll learn farm management tasks, team coordination, and reporting while rotating through sow farms, nurseries, and grow/finish facilities. Completion unlocks opportunities across Seaboard Foods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year university or college; related fields preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate, coach and lead a team to reach goals.
• Good critical thinking and judgment to resolve problems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.

Responsibilities

• Tending and caring for pigs across production stages and learning to manage farm personnel.
• Learning tasks such as monitoring feed/water, cleaning pens, treating animals, and record-keeping.
• Assisting farm managers and filling in for them when absent; meeting production targets.
