Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year instructing swim lessons preferred.
• Minimum 16 years of age and American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (includes CPR/First Aid/AED for the Professional Rescuer).
• Minimum 18 years of age and American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct group swim lessons and individual swim lessons in a safe manner.
• Motivate members and guests to increase swim technique and self-confidence.

Skills

Familiarity with the aquatics industry

Swimming proficiency

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work with minimal supervision

Education

High School diploma preferred
