Job summary

The University of Georgia’s Men’s Swimming & Diving program seeks a Manager for the 2018-2019 season. The role supports coaches, maintains social media, films meets, and assists with equipment and recruiting weekends.

Candidates should be comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds, standing during filming, and proficient with Word, Excel, and Office. Travel to away meets will be required, and background checks may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office.
• Knowledge of swimming and diving is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the team’s social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
• Film and process footage of swim and dive meets.
• Lift at least 50 pounds and stand for extended periods as required during filming or meet operations.
• Pick up and drop off equipment and laundry from the equipment room.
• Assist with recruiting weekends, including set‑up, clean‑up, and ensuring supplies are available.
• Support coaches and staff during practice sessions, meets, and related activities.
• Travel to away meets and attend all home meets.
• Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office.
