Job summary

The University of Georgia located in Athens, GA seeks a Manager for Men’s Swimming & Diving to support team publicity, meet filming, and operational logistics. The role involves video processing, social media duties, and assisting coaches during practices and competitions.

Ideal candidates will be comfortable lifting equipment, traveling to away meets, and using Word/Excel. This is a student assistant position with duties spanning recruiting weekends and event support.

Qualifications

• Experience with social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram).
• Ability to film and process video of swim/dive meets.
• Comfort lifting and移动 equipment; ability to travel for away meets.

Responsibilities

• Keep up with social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc.).
• Be able to film and process film of swim/dive meets.
• Lift at least 50 pounds; standing for periods during filming or meets.
• Pick-up/Drop-off Equipment and Laundry from the Equipment room as needed.
• Help with recruiting weekends; set up, clean-up, ensure supplies are in order.
• Assist coaches and staff during practice times, meets, etc.
• Be able to travel to away meets and attend all home meets.
• Knowledge in Word, Excel and Office; Swimming and Diving knowledge preferred but not required.
