Job summary

Ashland High School is seeking a Head Coach, Swimming to lead the program, organize practices, and guide student-athletes toward competitive excellence under the Athletics Director and Building Principal.

This temporary, stipend-based extra-duty position requires OSAA coaching certification and a commitment to safety, record-keeping, and collaboration with staff, parents, and booster clubs.

Qualifications

• Certification: OSAA Coaches Education Program.
• Previous coaching experience and leadership skills encouraged.
• Valid first aid/CPR card required.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises assistant coaches.
• Holds organized, supervised practices as the program requires.
• Teaches skills necessary to participate and compete.
• Develops seasonal goals and daily practice plans.
• Maintains safety and supervision of athletes.
• Keeps records of equipment, eligibility, and medical info.
