Job summary

Centennial High School in Portland, Oregon, seeks a Head Varsity Swim Coach for the 2026-27 season. The position offers a $6,556.92 stipend (prorated per 4-month period) with 3–5 hours per day, starting Nov 16, 2026 and running through March 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to speak a second language is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit integrity and act as a positive role model.
• Recruit students and manage the program with direction from the Athletic Director.
• Plan practice schedules and game routines to align with OSAA guidelines.
• Oversee assistant coaches and participate in the youth program feeding the secondary program.
• Ensure safety and compliance with district policies and guidelines.
