Job summary

The YMCA of the Northern Sky in Fargo, ND is seeking a Part Time Swim Team Assistant Coach. The role includes developing daily practice sessions, dry-land training, stretches, and swim instruction for all skill levels.

Evening and weekday shifts are typical, with some weekend commitments for meets. Requires 18+ years old, 2 years related experience, and CPR/First Aid certification. On hire, staff participate in safety and coaching certifications.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• 2 years of directly related experience.
• American Red Cross CPR and First Aid Certification – Training available at the YMCA.
• Within 1 month of hire: Foundations of Coaching 101, Concussion Education Certificate, Athlete Protection Training, Safety Training for Swim Coaches.

• Hours during the school year are afternoons and evenings, with weekends for meets; hours during the summer will add mornings as well.

• At least 18 years old
