Job description

Job Title: Operations Manager | Propel Swim Academy

Propel Swim Academy is seeking a hands-on Operations Manager to lead our team and support daily operations in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. You will manage shift operations, coach Swim Instructors and Deck Supervisors, and ensure an exceptional experience for swimmers and families.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage 2–3 shifts per week as Manager on Duty
2. Work 2–3 shifts per week as a Swim Instructor or Deck Supervisor
3. Schedule staff, coach team members, and coordinate training
4. Handle on-call shift support during scheduled days
5. Engage with swimmers and families, maintaining safety and quality standards

In-Water Work Requirement: Our managers teach lessons weekly, especially during onboarding. Must love working with kids and be ready to jump in when needed.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years in a leadership role (retail, swim school, or hospitality preferred)
• Excellent communication and team management skills
• CPR, Lifeguard, or Pool Operator certification (or willingness to earn one)

Compensation: $24.00/hr - $32.00/hr, with benefits including health insurance, PTO, leadership development, and lesson discounts.
