Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Hold a valid YMCA lifeguarding certification.
• Be certified in CPR, First Aid, AED, and Bloodborne Pathogens.
• Achieve Swim Lesson instructor certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to students in swim lessons.
• Oversee scheduling and staffing for swim lessons.
• Ensure safety of aquatic participants.
• Maintain class records including attendance and progress reports.
