Job summary

City of Green River is seeking a Swim Instructor to deliver ARC Learn-to-Swim lessons to participants of all ages and abilities. The role reports to the Recreation Programs Supervisor and focuses on safety, technique, and positive engagement in a community setting.

Responsibilities include leading classes, ensuring a clean, safe environment, and adhering to program requirements. Candidates must hold CPR, First Aid, and WSI certifications and be at least 15 years old.

Qualifications

• Must be CPR and First Aid certified.
• WSI certification required.
• Must be 15 years of age or older.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform vigorous activity during lessons.

Responsibilities

• Instruct patrons in ARC Learn-to-Swim standards.
• Interact with patrons to ensure safe, enjoyable lessons.
