Job summary

Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking a Swim Instructor or Instructor Aide at Spring Valley YMCA in Royersford, PA. Ideal candidates are at least 15 years old, enjoy working with kids, and are passionate about teaching swimming. CPR certification and in-water skills assessment are required to start.

Responsibilities include keeping a safe learning environment, supporting students, and communicating progress to parents while collaborating with the aquatics team.

Qualifications

• Age 15+
• Experience with kids and passionate about teaching swimming
• Ability to pass American Red Cross CPR Certification
• Ability to complete and pass our in-water skills assessment

What is needed for this job as our Swim Instructor (Or Instructor Aide):

Age 15+

Experience with kids and passionate about teaching children to swim

Ability to pass American Red Cross CPR Certification

Ability to complete and pass our in-water skills assessment
