Job summary

The Ocean Community YMCA in Westerly, RI, is looking for a passionate Swim Instructor dedicated to teaching swimming skills to all ages. You will create a welcoming environment, promote safety, and develop lifelong swimming skills.

This role includes ongoing training, free YMCA membership, and opportunities for advancement. Candidates of all backgrounds are welcome to apply and make a difference in the community.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong swimming skills and a desire to teach
• Prior instruction or lifeguarding experience preferred
• YMCA Swim Instructor, Red Cross WSI, or equivalent certifications a plus (training available)
