The YMCA of the Pikes Peak region is seeking an experienced Swim Instructor to help children and adults develop proper swimming techniques and water safety skills. You will provide skill-based instruction, maintain constant supervision, document attendance and progress, and report any incidents or equipment issues while upholding YMCA standards.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum age of 16.
• Current WSI or YMCA Swim Instructor or experience teaching swim lessons.
• Proficient in swimming and safety skills.

Aufgaben

• Provides swimming and water safety instruction to participants of all ages.
• Maintains constant supervision of students and ensures a positive learning environment.
• Attends staff meetings and trainings.
• Reports damage or equipment issues to the supervisor and secures substitutes when needed.
• Maintains certifications and adheres to YMCA policies and safety standards.
