Northern Kentucky University is seeking a part-time Swim Instructor (Temporary Staff) to lead both group and private lessons and promote water safety on campus. The role requires maintaining current lifeguard approval and ensuring in‑service trainings are kept up to date.

The Campus Recreation part‑time swim instructor position is established to teach people of all ages the importance of water safety and how to swim in a proper manner. Swim instructors must maintain the proper certifications and physical fitness required by industry standards. All in‑service training sessions and staff meetings are mandatory.
$13.50/hour without WSI Certification / $17.00/hour with WSI Certification. Flexible schedule is available. The shifts will accommodate pool hours due to needed lifeguard coverage and also based on the client’s needs.
