Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year teaching swim lessons or 2–4 sessions team teaching with another instructor.
• Active lifeguard certification required for all part-time instructors.
• NKU students should apply to the Student Swim Instructor posting.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality instruction for group and private swim lesson programs.
• Follow teaching methods and course requirements of the American Red Cross Learn to Swim program.
• Keep records of students and classes taught and report certifications to the Coordinator of Aquatics.
