Evolution Swim Academy, a premier learn-to-swim school in Orange County, is hiring year-round, part-time Swim Instructors at our Mission Viejo and Rancho Mission Viejo locations.

As an Evolution Swim Instructor, you’ll teach children life‑saving water skills, build confidence, and celebrate accomplishments in a fun, active pool setting. No experience? we provide paid training to become a successful instructor.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or in aquatics is a plus but not required.
• Paid training is provided to become a certified Evolution Swim Instructor.
• Ability to stand around pool and assist swimmers for extended periods.

Current shift availability:

Candidates must be available for at least two of the shift options below. You do not need to be available for every listed shift.

Mission Viejo:

• Monday–Friday mornings: 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
• Monday–Friday afternoons/evenings: 2:30 PM–7:15 PM
• Saturday & Sunday: 8:40 AM–2:00 PM

Rancho Mission Viejo:

• Monday–Friday afternoons/evenings: 2:30 PM–7:15 PM
• Saturday & Sunday: 8:40 AM–2:00 PM

About Evolution Swim Academy:

Evolution Swim Academy is a premier learn‑to‑swim school in Orange County dedicated to creating safer, more confident swimmers.

Every new instructor completes our paid training program, including hands‑on instruction in our proprietary swim curriculum developed by Evolution Swim Academy founder and two‑time Olympian Felipe Delgado. Upon successful completion, you’ll earn your Evolution Swim Academy Swim Instructor Certification.

Experience working with children, swimming, coaching, teaching, childcare, camps, recreation, or aquatics is a plus, but not required.

Physical requirements:

Instructors work in and around the pool and must be able to stand for extended periods, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch, assist swimmers using their hands and arms, and lift or support children weighing up to 50 pounds.

Job Type: Part-time, year-round
Starting Pay: $17.50/hour plus guaranteed quarterly pay raises
