Job summary

Goldfish Swim School - Central Park is hiring year-round, part-time swim instructors with leadership opportunities within 3–6 months. You’ll teach water safety and swimming skills to children using our Goldfish curriculum, in a supportive, fun environment.

Paid training with lifeguard certification (CPR & AED) is included. You’ll receive a set weekly schedule, uniforms, and opportunities for advancement while helping kids grow and learn to love the water.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with children.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must complete lifeguard, CPR & AED certification during training.
• Ability to perform job duties in a warm, humid pool environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.
• Educate students on safety rules and regulations.
• Evaluate students’ progress and complete required paperwork.
• Interact with parents/guardians on student progress.
• Use problem-solving to address student challenges.
• Maintain pool equipment and prepare class materials.
• Perform light cleaning duties as needed.
• Attend occasional workshops and training outside regular hours.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned.
