Job summary

Emler Swim & Gym is seeking a swim instructor to teach kids from 6 months to 12 years, partnering with a mentor to learn our proven methods. You will lead weekly lessons, celebrate milestones, and build trust with families while keeping safety at the forefront.

The role emphasizes an active, in-pool presence, strong communication, and reliability. Training is provided; evenings and weekend shifts are required, with opportunities for more hours as you grow within the team.

Qualifications

• Must love working with kids and bring positive energy.
• Reliable, safety-minded, and professional with great communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends on a set schedule.
• Comfortable in the water and active on your feet.
• Previous teaching or swim experience is a plus, but paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Training with an experienced mentor to learn swim instruction methods.
• Teaching weekly lessons and cheering on student milestones.
• Creating positive, trusting relationships with students and parents.
• Keeping safety as a top priority for everyone in and around the pool.
• Active, on-your-feet role including time in the water.
• Teaching classes for kids from 6 months to 12 years.
