Job summary

Emler Swim & Gym is seeking an energetic swim instructor to teach weekly lessons, celebrate milestones, and build strong relationships with kids and parents in a safe, fun environment. You will learn our proven methods from a mentor and contribute to a team that values safety, energy, and growth.

Shifts include evenings and weekends, with opportunities for more hours as you grow. Training is paid; prior teaching is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Must love working with kids and bring positive energy.
• Reliable, safety-minded and professional with great communication skills.
• Able to work evenings and weekends on a set schedule.
• Comfortable in the water and active on your feet; able to teach and play.
• Previous teaching or swim experience is a plus, but paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Train with a mentor to learn our proven swim instruction methods.
• Teach weekly lessons and celebrate student milestones.
• Build positive relationships with students and parents.
• Keep safety as a top priority around the pool.
• Be active in and out of the pool; you’ll be on your feet.
• Teach classes for ages 6 months to 12 years.
