Job summary

Swimtastic Omaha SW is seeking enthusiastic individuals to train as Swim Instructors. You’ll teach skills per Swimtastic curriculum in a fun, supportive setting and help kids build confidence in the water.

Flexibility is available with 5–30 hours per week; shifts vary across mornings and evenings. Prior swim instruction is a plus, and CPR/First Aid certification can be earned after hire. Competitive hourly pay reflects experience.

Qualifications

• Previous swim instruction experience preferred, but not required.
• Loving kids and being reliable with the ability to swim is essential.
• Willing to certify in CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adults, swimmers and infants.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming skills in Swimtastic curriculum in a fun, positive manner.
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students.
• Structure class time to include repetition, reinforcement, and skill introduction.
• Maintain equipment and time organization to ensure timely class starts.
• Provide monthly, individualized feedback on swimmers during Splash 'N Tell week.
