Job summary

Wisconsin Swim Academy in Green Bay is seeking a full-time Swim Instructor to lead lessons and help families learn lifesaving skills. You’ll use our WSA curriculum, support safety plans, and mentor teammates to strengthen our program culture.

The ideal candidate has leadership or management experience, reliability, and strong communication. Lifeguard certification is preferred but not required, with paid training 8–12 weeks and a 3% raise after training as part of ongoing leadership development.

Full-Time Swim Instructor

Location: Wisconsin Swim Academy, Green Bay (Training in Appleton)

Hours: 30-40 hours/week

Compensation

• Paid training (8–12 weeks) at $16.50/Hour
• Pay increase upon training completion to $18/Hour
• Eligible for ongoing leadership development with a 3% increase per additional training completed.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated, full-time team member who is passionate about helping children and families learn lifesaving swimming skills. Full-time employees are key contributors to our program’s culture, consistency, and long‑term growth. Those in this role must have strong leadership or management experience and enjoy stepping into decision‑making, training, and mentoring opportunities.

What You’ll Do

• Teach high-quality swim lessons to students of all abilities using WSA curriculum
• Support Emergency Action Plans and maintain safety standards
• Build positive relationships with families and provide welcoming, encouraging communication
• Assist with onboarding new instructors and contributing to a strong team culture
• Maintain consistent availability for scheduling and lesson coverage
• Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and leadership development opportunities

Training & Bonuses

What We’re Looking For

• Current and Valid Lifeguard Certification preferred but not required
• Leadership or management experience

• Willingness to commute to Appleton if needed
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
