Job summary

Wisconsin Swim Academy is seeking positive, compassionate swim instructors for its Green Bay area location in Suamico. You will be responsible for safety and teaching swim skills using our curriculum, helping students build water confidence and progress.

The role is part-time (10-20 hours) with afternoon/evening and weekend shifts. We offer paid training, a friendly team, opportunities for advancement, and competitive pay starting at $16.50/hour during training and $18/hour after.

Qualifications

• Current and Valid Lifeguard Certification preferred but not required
• Caring and compassion for children and adults
• Ability to work in the water for periods of up to 5 hours
• Strong communication skills
• Great attitude and willingness to be coached
• The ability to focus in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to commit to at least 1 year of employment, afternoons and weekends required
• Willing to commute to Appleton until Fall
• Minimum of 15-20 hours

Wisconsin Swim Academy is looking for positive, compassionate, hard working servant leaders to kick off our Green Bay Area location! You will have the opportunity to provide a unique service to the Greater Green Bay community and change lives! Anyone can teach a swim lesson, but it takes a special person to build trusting relationships and create lasting memories. As a swim instructor you are responsible for the safety of each class and teaching swim skills to students using our curriculum. You will work to build water confidence within your students, encouraging each student to rise to the best of their abilities. You can expect to be regularly communicating with students and fellow staff members. You should be someone who welcomes feedback and is a continuous learner. As a swim instructor you will report to the Deck Manager during shifts and provide support throughout the pool deck as needed.

We have a fun and rewarding work environment with a great atmosphere for someone who loves teaching and being around water. We offer paid training. Starting wage is negotiable with prior experience.

Compensation

• Paid training (8–12 weeks) - $16.50/Hour
• Pay increase upon training completion - $18/Hour
• Eligible for ongoing leadership development - 3% increase per additional training completed
