The YMCA of Western North Carolina is seeking a part-time Swim Instructor based in Black Mountain, NC. This role involves leading swimming classes for students of all ages while ensuring their safety and providing exceptional customer service.

Applicants must be at least 15 years old and complete several first aid and CPR certifications within the first 60 days. With a focus on community safety and support, this position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop skills in aquatics.

Formación

• Must be 15 years of age or older, preferably with previous swim instructing experience.
• Ability to perform all necessary rescue and survival skills and all lifeguard prerequisite skills.
• Able to communicate verbally with good voice projection and clarity.

Responsabilidades

• Instructs swimming lessons in accordance with YMCA guidelines.
• Builds relationships with students and parents.
• Ensures the safety of each swim lesson class participant.

Educación

Accredited Swim Lesson Instructor certification

CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification
