Job summary

British Swim School teaches fun swim lessons to children and adults, starting at 3 months old, following a gentle, progressive aquatics program. You will be trained to teach lessons, be scheduled by managers, and interact with swimmers and their guardians.

As a swim instructor, you’ll gain training, be part of a growth-focused team, and help promote a life-changing learning experience in a community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, equivalent, or in the process of completion.
• Enthusiastic personality.
• Comfortable in and around the water. Swimming skills are a plus but can be taught.
• Must maintain certifications throughout employment.
• Must complete British Swim School Aquatics training and testing.

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to and supports the Aquatics Manager and/or Business Owner(s).
• Instructs swimming lessons per British Swim School standards and maintains certifications.
• Work a flexible schedule that may include evenings (e.g., 4pm–8pm).
• Be in the water for the duration of the shift and manage moderate to high noise levels.
