Job summary

Goldfish Swim School - Sarpy County is seeking a Swim Instructor to teach water safety and proper swimming techniques per our curriculum. You will work under the Deck Supervisor, ensuring student progress and safety, and engaging with parents about their child’s development.

Responsibilities include delivering lessons, maintaining pool safety, completing paperwork, and participating in required trainings. Hours include mornings and evenings with at least two shifts, including a weekend shift.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with children.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
• Must pass background examinations (included with training).

Responsibilities

• Provides swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.
• Enforces safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents. Makes rescues and administers first aid when necessary.
• Evaluates students’ progress, and completes required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Interacts with parents/guardians on the activities and development of students’ swim skills.
• Acts as an ambassador to ensure parental satisfaction.
