Job summary

Goldfish Swim School in Papillion, Nebraska, is seeking a Swim Instructor to teach water safety and proper techniques according to our curriculum. You will work under the Deck Supervisor and contribute to a fun, educational environment for children.

Ideal candidates are 14+ with lifeguard/CPR training preferred. You will gain hands-on experience, participate in training, and help maintain a clean, safe pool area while delivering high-quality lessons and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with children.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
• Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required (provided as part of training).

Responsibilities

• Provide swim instruction based on Goldfish Swim School curriculum.
• Enforce safety rules and perform rescues when necessary.
• Evaluate students’ progress and complete required paperwork.
• Interact with parents/guardians regarding students’ progress and development.
• Maintain pool areas and report maintenance issues to management.
• Attend required workshops and in-service training outside regular hours.
