Job summary

Arizona Country Club seeks a part-time, non-exempt Aquatics Instructor to provide high-quality swim instruction for members and guests. In this role you will teach group and private lessons, maintain attendance and reports, and ensure safety in and around the pool.

Role includes leading practices for the Recreational Swim Team during Fall and Spring and handling billing records as required. Must hold lifeguard and WSI or equivalent, First Aid/CPR/AED.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Lifeguard and First Aid/CPR/AED certifications required.
• WSI or equivalent swim instructor certification required.
• Experience in a country club setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instruct Group and Private Swim Lessons.
• Maintain attendance records for swim lessons and complete reports.
• Ensure safety and proper instruction for all participants.
• Lead swim practices for the Recreational Swim Team during Fall and Spring.
• Provide constructive feedback and promote sportsmanship.
• Assist with billing records and participant charges as needed.
• Respond to weather notices and maintain pool areas for safety.
