The YMCA of Greater Richmond seeks a part-time Swim Instructor Assistant at the Swift Creek Family YMCA to support swim instructors in planning and delivering lessons. Candidates should have open availability and enjoy working with children of varied ages.

The role pays $13-$15 per hour and requires enthusiasm and reliable shifts. CPR, AED and First Aid certifications are desirable but not required; lifeguard or WSI certifications are a plus but not essential.

Qualifications

Applicants should be enthusiastic and energetic, with strong interpersonal skills. We are looking for candidates who can work a variety of shifts with a variety of ages.

QUALIFICATIONS Of a Swim Instructor Assistant

Current CPR, AED and First Aid certifications are desired but not required. Current YMCA, American Red Cross Lifeguard, or Ellis and YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor or WSI certifications are preferred but not necessary.
