Overview

British Swim School of Greater Virginia Beach is seeking outgoing and energetic candidates to teach survival and swim instruction to children and adults. This is part of a national franchise and premier learn-to-swim provider.

Responsibilities

• Teach survival and swim instruction to children and adults.
• Create a safe, engaging learning environment using games and activities.
• Deliver training and apply the British Swim School approach.
• Promote water safety and a lifelong love of the water.
• Support customer service efforts to ensure a positive experience for families.

Qualifications

• No teaching experience is required; training will be provided.
• Energy, a positive attitude, and a desire to help others.
• Ability to work with preschool and elementary-aged children; comfortable engaging with parents.
• Life guard certification is a plus.
• Flexible availability; afternoons and Saturdays; part-time commitments.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation: training pay $13 per hour; $16 per hour after skills development. Part-time position; 8–20 hours per week; shifts between 3 and 6 hours. Pay up to $16.00 per hour.
