Job summary

SafeSplash Swim Schools is seeking enthusiastic Swim Instructors to deliver high-quality swim instruction using our proven curriculum. You will teach skills in a fun, engaging way and provide ongoing feedback to students and parents. Safety, organization, and efficient class management are essential as you help learners progress.

Positions involve weekdays, weeknights, and weekends with paid training, daily pay options, and benefits like free swim lessons for immediate family members.

Qualifications

• CPR/AED and First Aid certification (Adult, Child, Infant) or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working around water and with children for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming skills using SafeSplash curriculum in a fun, engaging manner.
• Provide ongoing, positive feedback to students and parents on progress.
• Structure classes to maximize learning with repetition and new skill introduction.
• Track and document student progression daily for proper class placement.
• Maintain safety and class management per curriculum requirements.

Responsibilities

Instruction & Student Development

Teach swimming skills in accordance with the SafeSplash Swim School curriculum in a fun and engaging manner.

Provide continuous, positive, and constructive feedback to students and parents on progress and achievements.

Structure class time effectively to maximize learning through repetition, reinforcement, and the introduction of new skills.

Track and document students’ skill progression daily to ensure consistent improvement and proper class placement.

Conduct monthly "Splash n’ Tell" sessions to provide individualized feedback to parents.

Safety & Class Management

Ensure swimmer safety at all times by following safety requirements laid out in the curriculum, maintain constant supervision and enforce safety guidelines.

Maintain class structure and organization, ensuring smooth transitions and efficient use of lesson time.

Report any safety concerns or incidents to management immediately.

Operational Excellence

Maintain proper use and organization of equipment to ensure timely class start and end times.

Communicate class updates, student progress, and any changes to management to keep class records accurate.

Adhere to SafeSplash uniform standards as outlined in the employee handbook.

Weekdays, weeknights, and weekends required

10+ hours per week (seasonality may impact availability)

Requirements
