Job summary

British Swim School in Spring, TX is seeking a part-time swim instructor to bring kids joy and safety in the water. You’ll teach using our aquatics program, on a schedule that fits around school and other jobs.

You don’t need to be an expert—we train you. You’ll start weekdays at 3:00 pm, with flexible shifts and opportunities for advancement. Join a mission to reduce drowning while having fun at work.

Qualifications

• Must be a swimmer with understanding of all four strokes; prior swim team experience preferred but not required.
• Love working with children and seeing them progress.
• Be upbeat and ready to enjoy having fun at work; having fun is mandatory.
• Be able to start weekdays at 3:00 pm.
• Reliable transportation to Spring location.
• Lifeguard certification preferred, or willing to obtain within 90 days; reimbursement after 6 months.

Requirements For Swim Instructors

As a swim instructor, you will teach students of all ages in accordance with the British Swim School aquatics program. Even if you are not an expert swim instructor, that’s ok! We can train anyone on how to teach the way we teach, but here is what we do need from you.

• You need to be a “swimmer”. Ideally, you have an understanding of all four strokes and an overall appreciation for the water. Prior swim team experience is preferred but not required.
• You've got to love working with children and seeing them progress
• You need to be upbeat and ready to enjoy having fun at work. Having fun is mandatory!
• Be able to start weekdays at 3:00 pm
• Reliable transportation to our Spring location
• Current lifeguard certification preferred, or willing to obtain within 90 days of employment. Reimbursement is available after 6 months of employment with us.

• Hours Available - Mon, Wed, Thur 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Sat. 8:30 am - 2:30 pm Sun. 8:30 am - 2:30 pm
