SafeSplash Swim School in Santa Clara / Campbell is seeking a Swim Instructor who loves working with kids and the sport of swimming. You will teach classes following our curriculum, provide positive feedback, structure sessions for skill progression, and ensure safety in the water.

Preferred candidates have previous swim instruction, WSI and CPR/First Aid certifications; training is available. Compensation ranges $20.00–$24.00 per hour with flexible scheduling and opportunities for career growth.

Qualificações

• Previous swim instruction is preferred but training is available.
• WSI certification preferred.
• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid preferred; certification possible within 60 days.
• Experience with ages 6 months to 10 years and special needs welcomed.

Responsabilidades

• Teach swimming skills per Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner.
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students.
• Structure class time with repetition, reinforcement, and new skills.
• Ensure swimmer safety.

What will you do as a Swim Instructor?

• The main focus of a swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance with Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts
• Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills
• Ensure swimmer safety

What are we looking for in a Swim Instructor?

• Previous swim instruction is preferred but we are happy to train you
• WSI certification preferred
• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant preferred but we will help you get certified in 60 days of hire
• Special consideration given to instructors with experience teaching swimmers age 6 months to 10 years and Special Needs.

Compensation: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
