Job summary

SafeSplash is seeking a Swim Instructor for Round Rock, Georgetown and Pflugerville locations. You will teach swimming skills using our curriculum in a fun, positive environment, helping children learn with patient guidance.

Ideal candidates have prior swim instruction experience or are willing to be trained. WSI certification is preferred, and CPR/First Aid may be required; we offer certification help within 60 days of hire. Flexible hours and opportunities for advancement are available.

Qualifications

• Previous swim instruction is preferred but we are happy to train you.
• WSI certification preferred.
• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant preferred but we will help you get certified in 60 days of hire.
• Special consideration given to instructors with experience teaching swimmers age 4 months to 10 years, Special Needs and team.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming skills per Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner.
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts.
• Structure class time to include repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills.
• Ensure swimmer safety at all times.

What will you do as a Swim Instructor?

• The main focus of a swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance with Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts
• Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills
• Ensure swimmer safety

What are we looking for in a Swim Instructor?

What are our hours of operation?

• Round Rock: Tuesday-Friday 3:30pm-7:00pm ; Saturday 9:30am-1:30pm and Sunday 10:00am-2:00pm
• Georgetown Monday and Thursday 5:30pm-7:30pm
• Pflugerville: TBD but will resemble Round Rock
• Summer hours may vary with morning hours or special programs
