Position Summary

As an Aquatics Swim Instructor, you will work in a fast-paced environment, helping adults and children improve their swimming skills. You will teach life skills to young members, evaluate their swimming abilities to determine the appropriate swim level, and maintain the cleanliness and order of the Aquatics Facilities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Instruct swimming lessons and facilitate Aquatics events
• Respond to member questions, comments, and concerns
• Ensure a safe, clean, and organized pool environment
• Promote and sell all Aquatics programs and services

Position Requirements

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED
• CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard Certifications (obtained within 60 days of hire)
• Complete and pass all required Life Time courses upon hiring
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move around the club for extended periods
• Effective communication skills to interact with guests regarding Life Time products and services
• Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping
• Capability to lift more than 20 lbs routinely

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in swim lesson instruction or coaching

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $14.25 and up to $17.00, depending on experience and qualifications.
