Job summary

The City of Faribault Park and Recreation seeks a positive, energetic swim instructor to deliver high-quality lessons to residents and visitors. You will create a safe, fun, and educational environment for participants, fostering learning and enjoyment in the pool.

Responsibilities include teaching swimming and water safety, ensuring facility rules are followed, and delivering outstanding customer service to participants and parents.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 15.
• Basic swimming skills and willingness to learn advanced skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills with all ages.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Criminal background check and drug test required.
• Preferred American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification (or eligible for paid course).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
