Job summary

Elmhurst YMCA in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a part-time Swim Instructor. You’ll teach swim skills to kids and adults, helping them gain confidence in the water while delivering friendly, high-quality service to our members and guests. Flexible hours make it easy to balance school or other commitments.

No prior experience is required; we provide free training and certification. Must be at least 15 years old and can obtain YMCA Swim Lessons or ARC Water Safety Instructor, CPR, First Aid, AED, and

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years old.
• Current certification YMCA Swim Lessons or ARC Water Safety Instructor, CPR, First Aid, AED and Oxygen certification or must successfully complete the YMCA’s Aquatics Academy training program resulting in certification.
• Passion for working with diverse youth and ability to provide a high-quality of instruction using age-appropriate practices.
• Meets physical qualifications required for certification in job
