Job summary

SafeSplash Swim School in Denver—Park Hill is hiring a Swim Instructor. You’ll teach swimming skills according to our curriculum in a fun, positive way and help students gain water safety and confidence. No prior instruction required, and we provide training.

Qualifications

• Previous swim instruction is preferred; training provided.
• WSI certification preferred.
• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid preferred; we’ll help you certify within 60 days of hire.
• Special consideration for experience teaching ages 6 months to 10 years and those with Special Needs.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming skills per Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner.
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts.
• Structure class time to include repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills.
• Ensure swimmer safety.

What will you do as a Swim Instructor?

• The main focus of a swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance with Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts
• Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills
• Ensure swimmer safety
  

What are we looking for in a Swim Instructor?

• Previous swim instruction is preferred but we are happy to train you
• WSI certification preferred
• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant preferred but we will help you get certified in 60 days of hire
• Special consideration given to instructors with experience teaching swimmers age 6 months to 10 years and Special Needs.
  

Compensation: $19.29 - $19.29 per hour
