Job summary

SafeSplash Denver (Park Hill) is hiring a Swim Instructor to teach swimming skills using our curriculum in a fun, positive environment. You will provide feedback, structure classes for repetition, and prioritize swimmer safety.

Preference for WSI certification and CPR/First Aid; training and certification support available. Prior swim instruction is helpful; opportunities for growth in the aquatics industry.

Qualifications

• CPR-PR/AED and First Aid certifications preferred; training available.
• WSI certification preferred for swim instruction.
• Experience in teaching swimming is helpful but training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming skills following the Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner.
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers.
• Structure class time to reinforce skills and ensure safety.

What will you do as a Swim Instructor?

• The main focus of a swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance with Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts
• Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills
• Ensure swimmer safety

What are we looking for in a Swim Instructor?

• Previous swim instruction is preferred but we are happy to train you
• WSI certification preferred
• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant preferred but we will help you get certified in 60 days of hire
• Special consideration given to instructors with experience teaching swimmers age 6 months to 10 years and Special Needs.
