Job summary

SafeSplash Swim School in Bend, OR is seeking a Swim Instructor to teach swimming skills in a fun, positive environment following SafeSplash curriculum. You will provide continuous, positive feedback and help structure class time to reinforce required skills.

Safety of swimmers is a priority, and you may rotate into roles such as Front Desk, Lifeguard, and Deck Supervisor as needed. Training is available for non-certified applicants.

Qualifications

• Previous swim instruction is preferred but we are happy to train you.
• Availability to work afternoons specifically 2pm to 5pm

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming skills in accordance with SafeSplash curriculum in a fun, positive manner.
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts.
• Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills.
• Ensure swimmer safety.
• Rotate into team member roles such as Front Desk, Lifeguard, and Deck Supervisor when needed.

First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant

• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant preferred but we will get you certified
• Availability to work afternoons specifically 2pm to 5pm
