Job summary

Columbia Hospitality is seeking a friendly Busser for Sweet Waters at Valley River Inn in Eugene, OR. You will help ensure quick table turns, a clean dining room, and an exceptional guest experience while supporting servers and managers throughout shifts.

Responsibilities include resetting tables, restocking, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with guest requests. Must have a current State Food Handler’s License and the ability to lift 30 lb. and stay in motion during the shift.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• State Food Handler’s License required.
• Ability to transport 30 lb. and be in motion during shift.

Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables efficiently between guest visits.
• Refill water, bread, and condiments as needed.
• Assist servers with food delivery and table service.
• Maintain dining area cleanliness, including floors, chairs, and service stations.
• Dispose of trash and handle dishware according to health and safety standards.
• Support the team during peak periods to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with setting up dining areas before service, including table settings and condiments.
• Restock service stations with napkins, silverware, glasses.
• Assist with cleaning tasks such as sweeping and mopping floors.
• Help manage guest requests and respond promptly to host, server or manager instructions.
• Support opening and closing procedures, such as cleaning and organizing dining areas.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth workflow during busy periods.
